stainless steel exhausts

Hi there just wondering if any one is using a stainless steel exhaust on their dispatch and does it make it any quieter?

Probibly not.... My experiance of a S/S exhaust was to replace like for like a mild steel one on a petrol engined vehicle an most folks were convinced it was Boomier not necessarily as exhaust note but general reverberations from the pipe itself ........ obviously from inside car when under way.................

Sorry not being very helpful but I'd say if it's a diesel van as I suspect the exhaust will last forever long after van I'd think

Thanks for replies, just trying to find ways to reduce noise mainly when accelerating from stand still.

Have you stopped the larger panels vibrating? If not a roll of this stuff helps. Just cut and stick a few strips in each pannl. Door skins also.

Haven't used that particular item but I've triple insulated the roof, floor, side panel's and lined with ply.
Thinking of putting an extra layer of insulation on the cabin floor.
