Probibly not.... My experiance of a S/S exhaust was to replace like for like a mild steel one on a petrol engined vehicle an most folks were convinced it was Boomier not necessarily as exhaust note but general reverberations from the pipe itself ........ obviously from inside car when under way.................
Sorry not being very helpful but I'd say if it's a diesel van as I suspect the exhaust will last forever long after van I'd think

I had a stainless fitted but never noticed any differnce.

Have you stopped the larger panels vibrating? If not a roll of this stuff helps. Just cut and stick a few strips in each pannl. Door skins also.

Haven't used that particular item but I've triple insulated the roof, floor, side panel's and lined with ply.
Thinking of putting an extra layer of insulation on the cabin floor.
