Hi all im Paul, im the proud owner of a 2007 (Very late Mk1 Facelift) 1.9D Citroen Dispatch Chairman Wheelchair van.Ive owned it nearly two years when it had only 19k on it now Just about to click over to 40k and its not missed a beat!
With such low mileage the DW8B is a sweet as a proverbial nut, before this ive owned dozens of PSA cars including two 806's and Two Synergies but this is my first van. The only two slightly disapointing issues are due to the conversion adding weight is I can only just hit 70mph and avg MPG is about 30!
Look forward to chating to all you peeps!

Ha, 70 is enough. I hit 90 on a big hill on the A1 and TBH i was shitting it I did get 35 on a trip down the black Forrest Germany but going up hill was very disappointing. I had to pull over to let a line of cars and a petrol tanker past, However i did love the van.
Oh welcome BTW

My ancient TD still does 85+ easily and smoothly. The consumption really goes up though. Keep it under 65 and it's far better.
Hello and welcome Lovebus. What are your plans with the van? (But with that name, perhaps I shouldn't ask!)

You got 70MPH? Strong tailwind then You should be getting better than 30MPG though. I have the older DW8 (non-B) and get 37MPG on a decent long run, got as high as 45MPG once.
How do you find it compared with the 806/Synergies? I've had both of those, I miss the Synergie's sunrooves, fancy furnishings, 6(!) electric windows etc. One of the folding mirrors even worked!
Now I have erm, a big analogue clock in place of the rev meter, wooo!
