Lighter broken, replacement needed

Was hoping to use for power but it’s given up the ghost.

Will any other fit or does it need to be specific?

I think the only specific thing is the alotted amount of space it occupies......

I would suggest you remove the offending Item and have it accompany you to the nearest Halfrauds or B&M possibly euro car bits ETC and compare physique and get the nearest and cheapest to do job..........

But unless you already have.... Check a fuse and also the Bi-metal contacts inside and see if they need tweeked inwards to the center a little incase its been roughly handled as a mobile phone charger .... use plastics etc if you can to tweek or you definitely need a fuse .........

IIRC the outside body is earth and the center contact is positive.......
(Check inside lighter/power point.... I got caught out with a zafira that had a inoperative socket because it had a layer of gungee sweetie stuff and ash etc covering contacts........ worked fine after some excavation)

How are the housed. Bolt in, clip?? I remember mine being after market and was a poor fit that would pull out when removing power socket items.

F16 according to my handbook, 10A fuse.

Glove compartment. On my Synergie it was one of those dual position ones so you could choose if it's powered with the ignition off. Probably the same on the Dispatch
