Good one cheers. I was having no luck getting anyone to cut a strip of perspex at a wedge shape for me. I had decided to just stick them on with number plate tape what i ordered. May just pop down to the scrap yard for a couple of those. How did you get them off? I was thinking paint scraper.

Hi, do these make a big difference to the wind and noise? anyone any experience with acquiring them?

I can't comment on these taxi air deflectors as I'm like most yet to find a pair to fit although....... I did follow Caspers lead on fitting some extra self sticking side door seal which helps quite a bit......
"Aerodynamic brick" so whatever we do is relative............check side door fitment and adjust as best/tight fit you can within reason...........(able to shut door and open without breaking door handle)
I really didn't help my situation by using a roof box I had on some Rhino roof bars........... anything over 50 caused loads of turbulence..... I managed too reduce height of roof box... made no end of improvement
I then had a look at side doors again and decided to fit that extra door seal .... (check an adjust side door striker/locator pin and plastic bucket if you haven't already been there)
I now find that with every little improvement I get I find something else, I now find the pop up roof vent which is double skinned allows air to flow through/over and have an extractor type effect and causes some wind noise which at times can be distracting and as it's right in front of roof box maybe that has an effect towards it.

I fitted those window deflectors, don't think they have any bearing on noise reduction but you can see at one point how proud part of my door is compared to rest of panel
I dear say they must make some sort of improvement or PSA wouldn't bother ..... check the usual suspects first for biggest bang for buck
excuse me if I'm preaching to the converted but persevere (mine is not that bad even with roof box) you'll find an acceptable level/solution

Mine is quiet as now. Got a slight whistle from the sliding windows but i am being fussy. I thought about those wind deflectors you have Vaz but you can drive quite happy with the window fully down at 65mph so never bothered.

Sorry, what do you use?

If you are talking wind deflectors then nothing as i could not find any standard ones and no one could cut perspex for me to shape. Ill find something though but if you are talking door then i used a 2nd seal round the door. Bought this stuff

I also had a bit play in the middle roller mount so swapped them over at the scrap yard. Doors still poke out slightly but no noise and more important no water getting in.
BTW that link. If you want thicker stuff look at the sellers other items as he has that also.

Cool, is 1 enough for both doors? Do you have a photo of where you fitted it to?

Nut you will need two. No picture but you will see on the door where the standard door rubber meets the door. That is where i stuck mine hence the door sticking out a tad more than normal.

I only bought the one roll and still had a little left although to be fair I only did the leading edge of the sliding doors.
With sliding door open ... on leading edge inside where the skin is folded on to the frame is a flat area about wide enough for this seal ..... that's where i stuck the extra door seal on, pretty much top to bottom .... it's seal to seal face but it was at the top (especially at cab window miss match part) I had a little gap/ light contact to seal already on van and like Casper and if you look at photo above, my door (appears) sits a little prouder than before... Although as is the norm the rest of the fitment/panel looks fine..........
