Electrical problems when wet.

Hi all, just bought a 10 plate Dispatch, and it's been running fine. When I started it the other morning after it rained overnight, I came across a few problems. It started in a limp mode and would not rev more than 3000 revs, the dash lettering was all jumbled upland the remote locking was not working. Is there a way that the rain got into the electrics, as it cleared up after around half an hour?

No experience with these later models myself but it sounds like it.

I would get a can of water repellent spray ready for the next shower.  Nowt worse than intermittent electrical faults.
