Hi all,
Wondered what folk think about FASP swivel plates vs replacement seats with built in swivel. I like the seats I've already got in and they're in pretty good condition for their age. Trying to pickup replacement seats is proving difficult and they're likely to be pretty knackered if they're 10 years old.
Although, I can't find FASP plates for less than £200 for the pair. Which seems like quite a lot of money. Especially considering that replacing the seats I can sell my existing ones for about £80 and bring the cost down.

You can get universal swivel plates on ebay from £60. If i cant find cheap enough seat that is all i will be doing.

I just planned to keep looking while I did the rest, but kept emailing anyone on eBay/gumtree with a spares or repair 806/syn/Uly and found some pretty quick.
Although as mentioned in my conversion post the bolts on the seat base can be a little tricky... So possibly plates are a better option.I think I posted a link to some for around £80 and I'd emailed the manufacturer and they said it'll bolt straight in with a little modification with a hacksaw.

I still will go with 806/synergies seats they are designed to fit and are very solid there swivel base conscution , stay away from galaxy seats they have to be modded to swivel 180 by sawing of a safety pin that takes the seat belt force,,
