Citroen diesel pump

Ok guys any diesel experts here? My van 2001 low miles, was smoking (white) when I bought it, but I recon it was a faulty injector and could resolve with some cleaner, or replace. Before I got round to it she began to have trouble starting within short time after stopping. Now she won't start. Checked diesel to pump, yep but no diesel to injectors! Guess that means the pump is gone? Easy to change things to watch when doing the change.

So what engine do you have? The 1.9 and the 2.0 have totally different injection systems. You might want to do a few checks  before you start changing pumps. On 2.0 need to be coded in.

If you say " no diesel to injectors" then it must be a 1.9 , cos the 2.0 is common rail.  A common reason for non running  on the 1.9 is the fuel cut off solenoid , now hidden under a difficult to remove security cover.
you should hear it click when you put the ignition on.
