Woe is me...

Mot time, woe is me...
Failed
Two bits of welding on the sills
Broken coil spring
Advisories
CV boots
Rear shocks

Not too bad for a 200k mileage
That's taken care of the bank holiday weekend!!!

Re: Woe is me...

Mine failed this week on a broken front spring as well!  Thirty quid and a few hours work sorted it, all ready for a weekend away in Lancashire tomorrow now.

MOT and Insurance are my two least favourite times of year. But it comes with the package.

Re: Woe is me...

I had to replace my front subframe last year for my mot. The job itself was no problem, the biggest headache was finding a decent one. Ended up getting 1 sent down from Yorkshire..

Chipping Steam Fair is on my list one day, it looks good, I used to go to Malpas Yesteryear Rally regularly.

Hmmm, makes me feel grateful that I haven't got to do a job as big as that I suppose!!!
