After considering all of my terrible options in this post I fially gave up and decided to go for the Synergie window option. This is what it would have looked like:

So I rang the guy, but because it was so unusual he said I'd need to speak to the boss.
I was pretty frustrated, I just wanted to get the damn thing sorted. But I knew he'd recommended me to ring Halifax Windscreens, so I thought screw it I'll give them a go while I'm waiting.
Lo and behold he can do exactly what I wanted! Cut a hole in the side, fit some (flat) glass with a rubber seal. Here's some pics!

I'm afraid I didn't know flat glass was an option till this guy suggested it last week. At least it's sorted at last, I can start moving house now

Hi Ken,
I'm interested in your back door roof ladder. Did you buy it or make It?
Cheers, Griff.

It came with the van! In fact I don't really want it, I want to take it off once I figure out how to cover up the holes it'd leave.

Bugger, I think my van is a lighter colour, otherwise I'd have gladly swapped back doors.

You and me both!
Mine has paint code KNPB on the driver's door sticker, what's yours?

The panel on my scudo drivers door says KPVB which is the colour BLEU LINE-GIUDIZIOSO 479A for a CITROEN vehicle and KNPB is Blu Imperial, slightly darker.

That's a shame, but ho hum. Maybe if I do take it off I could pass it on to you. It's actually easily mountable if you're brave enough to commit to cutting holes in your door

I have a Fiat Scudo 2005 that I have bought for my main vehicle and a camper conversion. It’s a cracker. I have put in the rear windows. No Problem . But I think I fell into a problem with the side windows as the ones I got which are sliders don’t work with the van. Just starting to figure out the problem and then saw this thread...can you help with? Great looking van BTW?

I don't really follow. Do you mean you have the two-pane sliding glass in the side doors, except they don't slide?

I have the sliding door windows but they won’t fit in the van panels

Do you mean you don't have sliding side doors?
So long as the frames are smaller than the panels, I would think they could be fitted?

It could be that you can't cut the hole as big in the panel doors, compared with the ones that came with windows out of the factory. I know my guy said he can;t go any bigger than he's done
