Hello! I have just brought home a lovely red Dispatch. It's a 2006, 1 previous owner, 80K miles, FSH... great condition, BUT! It's not without faults. So I was wondering if any advice could be given on the following:
- There's a clunk / knock coming from the rear passenger side when driving over bumps.
- The radio code is missing and needs to be put in in order to work.
- The bottom part of the rear doors isn't catching.
- The fuel gauge didn't move after I put fuel in.
Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated. Also if anyone knows of a good place for parts, I'm looking for a couple of bits of trim.
Cheers!

Hello and welcome jj.
The knock could be from the spare heel hanger? Try tightening by nut inside rear doors.
The rear door catch failing is a common fault. Usually cured by adjustment or new catch. Try the search, there are a couple of threads.
Gauge and binnacle in general also seems to have quite a few problems. Might be best to check fuse and power to sender before delving into the dash though.
There is a lack of a good manual for these vans but you should find wiring diagrams in the "Repair Manuals" section.
For trim you would be best trying breakers. Would be extortionate new, if you could find them I suspect.
A good pic and some info on the rear door latch in this thread :-

It's the top part that doesn't catch on mine, and if I drive on especially rough ground they pop open.
That is, until I put a couple of washers under the latch where it bolts into the floor. Not popped open since.

Sorry if it does not also have the C700... number, then you are out of luck.

Have a look at Clarion.exe.
I think it can generate codes for non C70000 models. :-

edit... or perhaps on checking, it only does the c70000 serial numbers.

Knock noise underneath could be the exhaust. On my old one, the rubbers hanger perished and was only held on by 1 of the others and caused a knocking noise so check that out.

Just seen the right barcode, C70000001343.

The knock maybe the exhaust, mine did this shortly after buying and found that one of the rear box hanger rubbers had slipped off its hook to the body of the van. (for some reason they slip on these hooks from rear to forwards, so if the exhaust is not securely fixed to the front pipe its free to move rearwards and hence the rubbers moving off the hook) I sealed the rear and front pipes with exhaust paste and firmly pushed the rear box hanger rubber as far forward on the hook as possible, 1500 miles later no probs.
