Box???? 2005 Scudo 20lt JTD SX

Q! What is the box that runs the width at the back underneath. Also is the vent inside van rear nearside part of box. It has holes in a few places but still passed MOT 4 months ago and must have been noticed

Hole in N/S rear at wheel arch is to stop your ears popping or door seals blowing when you close the back doors.

Cheers, had a good look today. There's 2 boxes, one either side about 4".

On the 806/Synergie, there's a vent on both sides. I guess it's welded up on the DispatchExpertScudo for reasons

Cant get a better picture of my Dispatch as its floor lined but this is my old Expert. I presume you mean this hole on the left what i was keeping my jack in. If you look under the van it has rubber flaps to help keep the water out.

To Casper. I don't its for the jack.
My Scudo has a recess under drivers seat for the jack and wheel nut brace. It fits that perfect there's no need for any tie down straps Thanks for input anyway smile

No its not for the jack. I am just saying that hole where the jack is. The hole is for what i said earlier in the post. My mate in Holland covered his (Different van) and when he closes the back the air can be heard blowing out the door seals. This vent down that hole prevents this happening and saving your passengers ears. It also makes for a good gas storage area drop vent.

Interestingly on the Synergie/806, it is where the jack goes. Has a plastic mount and everything.

Yep, I used it for that on my Synergie too.
