back driving

first time  back driving today after over 6 weeks  ,the van started first turn of the key big_smile
sounded like an old taxi untill warmed up though lol

That was quick. Did they take the licence off you or just advised not to drive? I know people who need check ups once a year to keep driving.

they say you can drive after 4 weeks  , its the sternum and chest flesh is the limitation
after your bypass(which heals quickly)  its just  the bones knitting back together that takes time, i am more awake and alert ive been in years, my ticker must have been in a bad shape   just proves a point that no matter how fit /active you are!  sad

ps if you are a bus/psv/train driver you nead checkups &  maby Zeppelin pilots  monkey

I've only held on to my class one H.G.V. by the skin of my teeth..... 3 lots of tests in last 4 yrs ...... treadmill, peddle cycle, radio active dye injected and then in a doughnut shaped type machine for two lots of 45min tests or a ultra sound scan (same as pregnant ) if that's what it's called

Stress test heart basically and see how you recover after they turn your legs to rubber
