I'm like kenbw2 at a bit of a loss
How ever...............
Dirty sock syndrome is the moldy smelling odor that comes from your air conditioner or heat pump when you first turn it on or when a heat pump goes into the defrost cycle It smells similar to dirty gym socks which is where the name comes from. It is caused by mold and bacteria on the evaporator
Are we on the right track?
Obviously the Vehicles would all need to be fitted with A/C ...........
However I'd also point out about the possibility of Legionnaires if this is the case
"Legionnaires' disease is a potentially fatal type of pneumonia, contracted by inhaling airborne water droplets containing viable Legionella bacteria. Such droplets can be created, for example, by: hot and cold water outlets; atomisers; wet air conditioning plant; and whirlpool or hydrotherapy baths."

This Sounds quite serious................
I'm unsure if it's only because you've be using A/C and others haven't that this has come to light............
But make sure the A/C's evaporator drain is clear and not allowing the acumulation of stagnant water and hence Helping the growth of Mold and harbouring the potential of Legionnaires.................
I'd suspect the airducts feediging off the A/C will also need cleansing along with A/C unit and I'd think all should be well after that...............
How to go about that procedure and achieve a satisfactory outcome .............will need some research.............

Might be worth a trip to a specialist vehicle air conditioning service centre and see what they say?
They probably have the equipment and cleaning chemicals to do the job.
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same
