Leisure battery help

Yes I'm after a leisure battery! But i would like help or someone to recommend someone that would do this for me along with a few other things like lights and plugs. Im in NW10 london but am happy to travel.

Please please someone must be able to help!

I take it you want a split charge system. You get a kit on ebay starting at about £50 and that no doubt comes with instruction. Once set up you should not need to look at it again unless something goes wrong like dead battery. Looks a bit like this

However if you are on a tight budget and want a manual switch you can do this for around £15. YOu just need the battery wires and a switch and wire it like this

I was going to have a manual switch but if you forget to turn off you run the risk if draining the van main battery also if you start the van with the switch on you run the risk of killing your alternator. For the sake of a few quid more go for the relay. Sorry cant help with wiring as i am just outside Edinburgh.

As for wiring lights and stuff i say thats the easy part. I have not done mine yet but i bought a small fusebox. This one

See the nut on the outside. Red from battery to that and the six spade connectors sticking out. These are live and numbered one to six. Sun a wire from one to say the power socket and use the ban body for the earth. Same with the lights. I am adding a 2nd stereo in the back, that is the only item i intend on giving its own earth to what will run straight to the battery earth. If you want different coloured wire i use this lot

If you do a search of the other items they are selling you will find all the little spade connectors you need. Its not that difficult mate, just take your time and wire one item at a time.

Thanks thats great however its the other bits and bobs I'm worried about like the lights, plugs, switches. I would like this done by someone that knows what they are doing...I do not!
