In the Wiki entry for the Jumpy, it states that the EW10 engine was fitted to some models.
This got me wondering if it might be possible to drop a 2.0 from a Pug 206GTi into Brenda at some point. Or even a 2.2 variant or similar.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this, or more generally, converting to a petrol engine? I know I have asked this question before but maybe someone out there knows something.
cheers x

I know I considered something similar before deciding the fix up the blue van - in my case it was the DW8 to the XUD9. No way I'd approach it myself, but a garage I dealt with was willing to do it for a few hundred. Quotes varied from £300 to £900.
This guy converted his 2.0 HDi to the 1.9 XUD9 and documented the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnIbYwfV8xk
What makes you want to go petrol?

I'm worried that the government might ban diesels over a certain age! Sadiq Khan has already done it in London.

They are still making and selling diesels. That wont happen anytime soon. Only thing on the cards is banning the sale of them what is around 2032 but it could be another 10-15 years before they start heading for the scrap yard, By 2032 i will be in my early 80's and if alive would probably not be to bothered about driving anyway. You may see the price of diesel go up a lot more though.
Kind of crazy as most diesels could be adapted to run almost any old oils what could be great for the environment compared to mining oil and refining it into diesel.

Although they have offered petrol engine options Some thing tells me like the LWB it was Euro..... not a UK option...........
I've never seen a petrol version ever.......
Not I admit I was looking...........
So therefore " No LPG variants" either which for a Campervan could be interesting.........
