Drill Through Rear Floor +

I have two 5" bolts i want to drill through to hold bed/bench in place. I notice looking through the round holes in the floor that its double skinned. Is this the case at the spare wheel end as that is where (ish) i want the bolts to be? Kind of unsure if my bolts will be long enough.

Oh the + bit

See the latch on the floor at the back doors. Its held on with two bolts, well one in my case as the bugger snapped. Can i grab it from under the van somehow? Reason i ask is i cant see anywhere obvious and if i have to drill it out i am in dread as every time i have tried to do this in the past on the bikes i made a right arse of it.
