Camshaft pulley noise

Anyone had trouble with Camshaft sprocket on 2.0 DW10? Got a whine and a rattle from that area on mine. Is this a major pain to fix if it's on the way out?

I'd be more inclined to isolate the actual whine rattle Before condemnation or diving in...............
I've got a DW8 so not even close comparison    {In that dept}........

If you haven't tried it.........
There's a thread on here somewhere on using the old "Screwdriver? trick " of placing one end on suspect area and other to ear like a stethoscope .......
