Servicebox access

Well I see that PSA have now decided that we should be paying to find out the part numbers for our vans http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/pages/index.jsp

However there are a couple of alternatives - Russian sites that appear to have scraped the data.

Re: Servicebox access

Yea I was very disappointed to see a paywall when I was on yesterday. It's been a massively valuable resource. Damn shame.

Cheers for the links though, that's really helpful

I've saved those Links .............. Much appreciated

I came across this "issue" about a week or so ago ?....
After not visiting site for a good few weeks ............

Don't know which emotion is taking precedent .............

"That PSA (Typically) have decided to Charge for all access"..........

Or that Neither "I "nor my ageing (Along with me) PC did a massive "Cock up" last time visited .......

Re: Servicebox access

Yes, had problems in the past where the website insisted I was in the wrong country. But I checked around and found a post in another forum indicating that the paywall came up a few weeks ago.
Anyway I found an old install (sedre and peugeot docs) from 2011 on my PC for the parts and electrical diagrams which still works, so that's also a backup

Re: Servicebox access

I noticed today too, went on to get some part numbers for the van as doing a little conversion so wanted part numbers for the interior trim in the rear.

Decided to just pay the €6 for an hours access and screen printed the parts etc I was interested in.

Will have to give your link a try tee_cee

Re: Servicebox access

Is this the sort of info that is on that site?

Reason i ask is when i bought my last van (Pug Expert) I got these disks with it. If the one on the left (Screenshot) Is the one with all the parts numbers then i am willing to make an ISO image and upload if someone can explain how and where to upload large files. Another option is if Tiree was interested to do it and upload to the site ill send the disks down to you.

There are a few options:

How big are the disk images?

Re: Servicebox access

I can confirm it starts downloading - I'll try the full download when I have more internet allowance!

A bin file though? What did you use to create it?

Downloaded and mounted using https://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/download/
Runs fine in Windows 10 and is quick, however the release is from 1999.

Sorry i presumed it was one disk fits all. It does cover the XUD9TE so i presume the 1.9 Turbo and the 2.0 guys need a later disk. Ach well, At least its of use to some

Re: Servicebox access

Here are some links for the last offline edition 11/2013 - either mega or gdrive, links are interchangable
Its a 12Gb rar archive, which decompresses into a 20Gb XP virtualbox image https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
The XP is in Russian but that does make any difference - Servicebox is in Russian also but this can be changed to English.
Tested OK on virualbox 6.0.4
