Hi, I recently got myself a MK1 (2002) expert 1.9D.
I tried plugging my OBD2 adaptor in but it wouldn't fit so I'm guessing this needs a different type of diagnostic adaptor.
Anybody know what I need to get?

Hey Martin,
OBD2 adapters fit my 2006 20.HDi fine - my cheapo one looks like this:

Not sure if the 1.9D is different but assumed it was a standard thing tbh.
2006 Citroen Dispatch 2.0HDi bought in July 2013 - Partial camper conversion ........

My 53 plate 1.9D was a standard obd.
Mine was an xtrons bluetooth one.

Used it with a tablet running torque no problem:

I've got the standard OBD2 adaptor but my van seems to have an earlier diagnostic socket. Any ideas?

There's a lot of generic OBD2 code readers say they'll read vehicles going back to 1995 ETC........ But when you read the fine print most will only read something off a Diesel vehicle from 2004 or Model year onward and pertol engines from IIRC 2002 .................
So that could be an OBD1 plug you have .................
