I found this plastic part in the inner wing in behind a headlight(2006 Expert)
Does anyone know if it's part of the van?
Where does it fit?
What does it do?
Will the world end if I throw it in the wheelie bin?

I have No idea what it actually is........
But could I guess and be spectacularly and more than likely wrong ...........
" Is it a linkage for headlight height adjustment?"...............

i'll have a look round about the back of the headlight Vaz.
I think it snaps over a rod of some kind.

Im going for an educated guess. Not like me i know but...................
Most car parts have some sort of date stamp. Plastics tend to be clock shaped so it hat has nothing like this stamped on it i would say its rubbish

It has letters and numbers on the side
7533>PA66/6<9611936480ind 02
The PA66/6 seems to be the type of plastic used.
The engine management light is not on(that's a joke, well nearly a joke)

Well done Casper.
When I seen the jack in the parts photo I had a look at my own jack, wheelbrace plastic clip. There is a place for the wee doodah.
Photo shows the tool clipped into its place.Has to be for removing the plastic wheel hubs as you say Casper.

I wonder how it got in behind a headlight, finding bits in a vehicle not attached to something always has me asking myself if they are somehow needed.
I will wonder no more.

Funnily enough:~ That too was going through my head "What were they up to when they lost that there"...........
As recently I'd found out (After Approx 5 or 6yrs ownership) the jack ETC is meant to live under the seat (Mine still doesn't) ...........
