Long Wheel Base

Aaargh!

Knew these existed but hadn't laid eyes on one in the flesh til walking home, late, along Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.

Quite confusing ....

Re: Long Wheel Base

Im quite sure an angle grinder and welding kit is all you need for DIY.   big_smile

Or cut the back end from a scrapper with the axle and graft onto the van for a twin axle model and an extra 3' of leg room.

Re: Long Wheel Base

It looks like it maybe was a minibus - but had no seats in the back - was just full of stuff!

I was having chitty chat with the guy who was sleeping in it for the weekend with his girlfriend asking if he had intention of converting but he uses it for work so no. Just chucks bedding in when they go away but having a look inside i would not say it was a great difference. 14 inch or so. First i noticed is you lot with the facelift model have a slightly different dash on the passenger side.

Re: Long Wheel Base

Just looked at the 2 pictures of the long wheel base, the blue one has the extra in front of the sliding doors and the white one after the doors, Wonder why would that be ?

I noticed that also and put it down to the white being a pig expert and blue being a scudo or dispatch. Could be wrong though  tongue

It would make a difference with the bed i made as if i never had the swivel seats it would have been difficult folding it back up. Saying that the Futon i use is slightly wider than the bed what does not help.
