remote central locking

Hi guys, i know technically this is for vans up to 2016, but i was thinking of buying a 2017 dispatch, but the problem it is , it only has "turn key in door" central locking and doesn't have a remote central locking fob, the garage said its not possible to get a remote central locking key either?

I found this strange for a relatively new van, now it is a basic enough model (2.0L) but still.......

Anyone any advice on this or is it definitely not possible to get a remote central locking key fob made?

Hi dioufy,
Welcome to the forum.

I would find it a bit strange in this day and age for even a base model not to have remote central locking.

I know some companies order Van's without the alarm, all my British Gas vans had the alarm deleted  at factory, but they all still came with remote central locking.

Have you enquired at the main dealer or another dealer?

Thanks for the welcome Anchor !!! I am going to enquire with a citroen dealer tomorrow , i'm not sure whether they just didn't want to spend the extra money on a remote key for me, as you say in this day and age you'd imagine they would all come with remote central locking,  my current 08 nissan van has it.

You can try an auto locksmith they will be able to tell you if it's fitted and supply you with a key programmed with the central locking system and immobiliser
