Re: Mk1 Facelift for sale

a 2007.. technically a very late mk2... wink  that should have central locking, its got aircon! pretty sure it was standard on mk2 vans. maybe its been disabled/fuse taken out. or if it has a stop solenoid (old XUD injection pump) setup maybe the original ECU/immobiliser had a fault and was removed. i prefer an engine with no electronics to be fair. seem more reliable. my old XUD powered cars were unstoppable. would not be hard to get it all working again but leave the engine as is.

price seems a little high (to me) but given its rust free and the fact its got the rather nice ramp in the back i got a feeling it would sell for that.  big_smile

the facelift was enough to render it a mk2...  really! big_smile

get the same issue with the old fiat pandas. i have a 1991 mk2 4x4, but everyone calls it a mk1 because the ones from <84/5 was the same shape as the later ones. then in the uk they stopped being sold in 1995.. then the new shape came out in 2003 and they started being sold here again. the old shape fiat panda was still being sold in europe right up to 2003. would love a 2002 4x4 big_smile

Re: Mk1 Facelift for sale

Like the Khyam tent and awning. Never seen one. Might have to explore those. Only got a basic awning and seperate tent for my (non camper) van.

Also, says in the ad the van is galvanised. Is that true?
