Hi folks
Just got an 08 Fiat Scudo as a non runner, it needs a new engine (cam belt snapped).
I’m trying to work out what engine codes are compatible with the van I’ve got so I know what to look for. Trying to keep the same output if possible - I don’t know if there’s a lot of variations.
It’s a 2.0l 120 multi jet - I’ve been told it’s a JTD engine (but that’s just fiats labelling to stay in line with there others). Haven’t looked myself yet as it’s parked up somewhere else ATM.
Are RHK engines the same? Are their any other engine codes to look out for?
Thanks for any help, never brought something with so little research first!! Looking forward to getting it on the road ?
Cheers all

Hi...... The short answer is Yes All these vans were built in the same factory in France and it's All badge engineering..............
Where it shows that's a JTD it's really a HDI as all engines are the same ............
Although FIAT does give the only option of a petrol :-it's own version ....But I think thats MK1's only ............
And also the 2.3 Diesel option from the Daily .... But I think that's only with the larger Ducato.............
(I stand to be corrected)..................... Other than that their all the same HDI's badged as JTD's....
(It'll be the same as fitted to Cars most likely with very suttle changes... i.e. Ancillaries)

Hi
Thanks!! I can search by year and size then which makes life a bit easier, the current engine is complete so bits can be swapped on if needed.
Cheers
