This is something I don't want to admit too and I'm thinking this is somewhat unfair situation all round as I'm still unsure at what to do, As said else where My partner is going through another course of chemo (her condition was a Reason we bought Van).....
Apart from a 600 mile trip and a couple days that incorperated her CT Scan.....
Through virtually total lack of use this year (include everyone) and very minimal Last year.......
The future doesn't look great for our van use as we're ..... No ..... She's stuck getting Chemotherapy in discomfort and feeling like Sh** till near end Oct then the tests after that..........
I got van in 2005 so had it 5 yrs and it was converted new by a company no longer in business...........
Fairly well documented on forum here over those last 5 yrs........
It's a 2005 Citroen dispatch with the DW8/b......
It's on another binicle (speedo) I changed last binicle (About this time a yr ago .... no mileage was showing at time) because speedo occasionally didn't work but it turns out it's most likely The speed pick up
So it's showing 86,000mls when it's done no more than 102,00 mls........... (I haven't had this one corrected)
It's fitted with a GPS Tracker (Text it, It texts back a google map ref....either show on map or co-ordinates ....when van running), A Garmin Gps with life time UK map updates and a european map card, Dash cam (clone type GoPro), Several extra power points (cig lighter and USB type) Either controled by ignition or via leisure battery...........
Split charge leisure battery with shore power hook up which from what I understand is a "CBE PC100 - Power Management, Battery Charger, Consumer Unit"
I have over last couple years thought to sell trade up to something slightly bigger but in end couldn't justify extra investment we don't really have......
In the last couple weeks I was in discussion with a trader who tried hard to get us to buy a newly converted all be it 6 -7yrs younger van but unlike this one it was Not reclassified as a Motor home/Caravan
He was wanting me to spend plus my van £10,000...........
So from that were looking at £5,000 for mine..........
Apart from I don't have £10,000 I'm somewhat reluctant to spend £15,000 on a camper that's not a camper (And unlikly to be .... Nevermind the lack of use) and all inside fittings are needed on a seperate policy as goods-in-transit (possibly) ...Is it van with modifications ?...... or if possible an aggreed total value that ive had problems with in past.......
i.e. fit out a truck with pto hydraulic pump etc for job and then your only offered current value of base vehicle in pre-accident condition ...........
I'm sure if we had gone further he'd have tried to knock another £500 off valuation.....
It's not perfect it is 15yrs old and does have age related marks etc......
It has 99% of service history from new or reciepts for from what I see..........
you'll need your own phone card for gps tracker, I'll also leave the Garmin gps, the dash cam and roof box.........
I did have new sills fitted, a clutch, New graphics (As old were going flaky with age) and it's due an MOT by the end of Aug which It'll get before going anywhere......
I'm sorry it's not a needing to For Sale It's more down to our predicament and the future use we may get for our investment
If this is for you get in touch (I might be a bit slow to get back) if not no worries it's paid for and it'll be there for us ..........
Surprising how Dusty and grubby it can get when doing nothing
I dear say this fairly current photo from about end July 2020 stopped for cuppa on return from Turnberry Via Stranraer won't go amiss

That's really sad news, you've been a really enthusiastic voice on this forum but I know you won't have taken the decision lightly.
I hope all goes well with you and your wife's chemo (sounds like you're sharing in the pain), and to be a little tongue in cheek I hope noone wants the van so you can both come out of the current time to enjoy new adventures

Thank You for kind and encouraging words .........
Our story is probibly only really special and odd in a way to us ..............
Basically we met around 40 yrs ago and because of circumstance we went our own ways and lost touch for easily pushing 30 yrs with all the little bibs & bobs in between and along the way .......
She ended up in Derby and .....(her Mother still living in the Village where we met)
I having not long returned permanently to Sw Scotland after nearly 15-20 yrs on & off working out of East Sussex and both having gone through Splits & Trauma..........
10 yrs or Slightly more ago we met up again... and the rest is history as they say...........
In 2013 we discovered totaly by accident while testing for another (as is usual) ailment that She had Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and 2 things the prognosis at the time was 6 months if Nothing done and it could only be managed .....Never cured.........
We got the Van just about the 5 yr ago mark, About a yr previous (Her choice) we had got her a little motorbike of her own rather than me updating to something larger (A 1050 Tiger was on the Books) at the time........
It became apparent fairly quickly she wasn't going to be able to ride it any great distance (We've Still got them both)......
We had been using the car to go down to her dad's in Spain and using my touring tent on route....
Sept 2014 There was an epic storm and we ended up sleeping in back of the 306 and then after I'd been away again on bike and we did the likes of of going round what's the NC 500 and sleeping in the 306 (Used 306 in that 12 months previous to Van arrival 3 times down to Spain .... Her Dads, Costa Brava and Both {Did Similar trips with van}) etc.............
But then decided it was time to take Van on under circumstances..........
And proceded to do it all again as you do ........... But with Van......
I'm kinda in your camp where the Vans concerned.....I'm Fair tempted to pull it .... But it's done now....... It's a terrible sell discription for starters .... I'm sure I've missed many more fittments or good points and bad ones too for that matter...........I haven't put it or said anywhere else I.E eBay Autotrader.............
This Covid thing has everybody pinned down too........ I want it to take us to the Arctic circle ... I've already got the mud & snows on it
This is her 3rd round of chemo the Last being two yrs ago and since then we've lost her Spannish Step mother which took the feet out from under all of us
She's got her mid way chemo CT scan this week coming (To see if it's doing what it's meant too) and then the other 3 treatments taking us up to end Oct if all goes to plan ...........
So we're a bit jittery.......
It really is true what they Say ......... Old age doesn't come on it's own

Sorry to hear your sad news vaz. Hopefully the therapy is effective and you both get chance for that arctic trip.
The van realy does look good. Have we ever seen pics of the interior?
I spent about 25yrs in E Sussex myself, out in the sticks near Rye. A village then virtualy owned by Guinness and with the only Guinness pub in the country. Enjoyed it there but missed the moors and mountains.
Edit...
And let's all hope that one of the other things that comes with age is the fortitude to bear all the rest of the crap. It's certainly a sobering thought when I realise my 22 yr old van has a very good chance of seeing me out.
Good job we don't have to have mot's eh?

Again ..... Thank you For your words of support...........
I Apologise though as this is not somthing New for us...........
I'm positive that over the years on the forum here there's been interior photo's posted along with Van's Progresion............
I'll upload if required new interior pics although No changes have been made or added to the origonal basics of the interior since it's arrival
These following pics have I'm sure all been posted before at some point so can be any where between it's arrival and a couple yrs ago ......
So 5 and 2 yrs old (Time flys when enjoying yourself) And as nothing has fudimentaly changed no need for new pics.........

Other than instead of using two quilts (top & bottom we now have a memorey foam topper in a quilt cover) for ease of washing and prefrence over Sleeping bag.............
I'd best describe it as a well put together sort of selfbuild professional kit like https://dreamcamperkitchens.co.uk/produ … en-swb-lwb.....
It's a sort of side kitchen with an odd type rock & roll bed and at first I thought an odd shape layout and that beggers can't be choosers and thats how it was for our spend budget............
But the layout/shape makes sense to us now and works out really well.......... (Maybe we've just molded to it)

Only the passenger seat swivels and I think rather Heath Robertson in operation but effective
I have what is a sort of quick guide to the PC 100 power panel which also appears to have inages of this very vehicle on it so I surmise that this may be one of this convertors that's no more.... early builds
I was Mostly in Lewes, East Sussex as it turned out in the end….. up on the old race course way way back up behind the prison………..
I stopped off with my parents in their granny flat at my sisters ……. Sister a Brother-in-Law were Racehorse Trainers
At one point I became a frequent traveller on the A 259 past Rye and Camber Sands (Cinque Ports) when heading for the chunnel after picking up a Second man in Polegate………
He became a good friend (Still is) and we stayed traveling the A259 doing the monthly “Booze cruise”
When I first landed down south I was going through a divorce and for quite a bit of time I was in one or three caravan parks around West Kingsdown, Kent (Brands Hatch ….West Kinsdown became Famous Because of Kenneth Noye although during my time there we didn’t exactly know that then)
At the time I had work in Dartford, Erith and in other direction Aylsford and Sheerness Isle of Sheppey areas and my billet was sort of central to that
I Never planned or meant to be down that long ………One contract lead to another and I was still paying the Mortgage for here then before she was bought out..........
And yes difficult and costly it might seam to be..... but If we choose too.. it's far easier in the end to keep vehicles healthy and pretty {inanimate objects}
Currently my partner is with her Daughter for a couple days (Before next anticipated Lockdown/Shielding and doesn't see her for another 3 or 4 months) So I'm left to my own devices at moment
