Re: Wanted: Sliding Door (Update)

I got a white one spare that I might be able to bring up for fuel monies, but this one is probably a better bet: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Scudo-2 … 4081836809

Care to share what happened to the current one?

Re: Wanted: Sliding Door (Update)

This Q is bound to disappoint as it's not a door ................... I've noticed (sits differently too) a little play movement in middle roller on passenger side that's not on drivers........ I see you've changed that part before.......... How's it done? especially getting roller out as I don't see anyway of opening the end up easily at the back  (without breaking something) to get it out

Ha. Just finished sending him a message. The three small bolts holding the lock in place have been tightened that much over the years they have cut into the metal so it all moves when you pull the handle so the rod is not opening the lock. Washers are just going into the steel also as its starting to rot. Rather than dick about with a welder i would rather just change the door. Its a works van so not greatly fussy about colour i could always spray it. The other slider does not work and i need one to get my lawn mower in and out big_smile Im jumping in the back over other garden tools to pull the rod just now big_smile

How far as you from North Berwick?
