Tow Bar

Hello,
I have a (Dutch) Scudo from 2004, long version, 2.0 JTD 8V 110PK, motorcode RHZ.
I bought the standard Bosal 026-101 Tow bar (Thule/Brink 316600).
But when I mounted it, the holes for connecting the right rod, above the exhaust, did not fit. There should be a vertical mounting point in the chassis, but my car only has a prefitted holes in the horizontal beam of the chassis.
Fiat cannot explain to me how it is possible. The car is not imported.
Does anybody have experience with mounting tow bars and/or has anubody encountered this problem?
Thanks, Frans

Re: Tow Bar

Hiyah Frans and welcome!

Not something I have any experience of I'm afraid.

Searching the part - Amazon tells me instantly that it will fit my van (2006 Dispatch RHZ).

I'm sure one of the other guys will have experience with these and will chip in at some point.

Let us know if you have any luck.
