Looks like it is bases on a LWB chassis   looks good but I think i tad underpowered  with a 1.9d with all that weight

Ha! I've actually seen a couple of these .. both touring way up the very north coast of Scotland. How weird would it be to be in that familiar wee cab knowing you had all that gear behind you!

I dont know. The same engine was in the early boxer motorhomes what must weigh more. Remember it will just be a fiberglass shell.

If i thought it was this simple i would cut the sides and roof away with an angle grinder and craft some sort of luton shaped shell onto the back. I would think the ridged structure of out vans are through the side and roof supports though to prevent flexing.

This kind of build is more popular on Ducato sized/type chassis

Being FWD these types of vehicles lend themselves to all sorts of modifications.

The vehicle's is/are delivered as A Chassis cab or A chassis cowl......
They then can have whatever built as intended..........

However some companies especially motorhome builders will cut off/modify the chassis or buy just the front clip ready cut behind cab/cowl and bolt on an Alko chassis (popular at moment) to give them whatever wheel base size they desire in order to build their caravan type accommodation and create a motorhome thing

Pre cut/built chassis cabs paired up ready for delivery and to acquire their chassis and body attachments
