MoT Day

So the van has been SORN for quite a while but kids are moving flats soon so it was time to get it back on the road.

First bit of fun was when I attempted to start it this morning (it was running fine yesterday) - click, nowt. click, nowt. click nowt.

Some percussive maintenance on the starter motor sorted that.

Then, the garage ring up. Exhaust leak failure. More specifically the EG tube had come away from the housing on the exhaust manifold. The bolts were sheared and stuck inthe housing. This was eventually fixed, however it was close to having the entire manifold removed and that could have sheared the bolts in to the head...

But anyway, fresh new MoT and the DVLA has 6 months of Vehicle Excise out of me...
