Heater blower stopped working

Hi Everyone,

I've recently bought a 2014 2lt Expert and been very please with it. However, the blower has decided to stop working. I have read some posts on here which suggest that on the series one vehicles the problem tends to be a resistor which is located behind the glove box. Is this the same with my vehicle or could the problem be something else. Any help would be much appreciated as I'm flying completely blind with this one.

Cheers

John

Re: Heater blower stopped working

Certainly the case that MK1's often have resistor problems.

To be clear... afaik, the resistor is located on the blower motor itself, not in the electrics panel behind the fuse box.   I think there is a relay relating to the heater in that electrical panel though

The controls can also be a problem.

There are many threads on the various heater problems on here and elsewhere.  Not linked to any as I am unsure on if they would apply to your 2014.

I am sure someone will be able to confirm.
