#1 Re: General Discussion » Lower suspension arm & inner tie rod replacment » 2021-03-05 14:31:45

Thanks for advice. I've managed to fit new lower arm. I believe I found easiest way of doing it as tooks me 3 min to secure lower arm and bottom ball joint in place. I attached photos the BAR I've used is from screfix really handy. No risk to damage any rubber parts as it doesn't slip. I've attached a photos, the bar goes through the hole in wishbone and leverage on a subframe.
Next week I am going to replace other site then upload more photos.

Am I right that this lower ball joint comes with wishbone only? Can't find ball joint only.
One front tyre does need replacing.

Wonder if you can help me with this one:
Got loose on steering wheel when moving left\right there is a knock knock sound, additionaly at 65/70mph steering wheel is shaking.
Today I level up the van and notice damaged lower ball joint rubber.
There is no knocking sound when driving on uneven surface, only when van is stationary. Any Ideas?

I think 4mm. If wet the rubber under the breaded bit may be split. If you have enough to play with try cutting 4/5mm off the end and pop back on

End up doing your Idea, I cut off 1cm and pop in back in to injector,  it isn't stretch to much so should be good. No leaks
Thx again
