Hello! I have a leaking oilpan on my jumpy 2.0 hdi 2006.
It has the AC unit which I guess it's mounted to the oilpan.
I also think the (exhuast?) pipe is in the way.

//Thank you

#2 Re: General Discussion » Citroen jumpy 1998 where to put jack and Jack stands? » 2025-07-06 22:22:39

Thanks for the answer. I going to check the rear wheel bearings cause some of my bearings are sounding.
I agree that the best option should be under the tow bar  (if my Jack can lift high enough ?)

Otherwise under the rear springs should be a good option.
On my rear axle there is a sign to not jack it up or put a tow rope tow chain. I think they mean in the middle of the axle cause it may bend. But the axle should be strong enough to hold the weight if you put it more to the
Right/left wheel.

?

Hello! Im about to make some repairs on my jumpy from 1998.
Where do i put jack and Jack stands?
If I wanna lift the rear left/right?
I dont want to bend something.
My regular jack mounts have some rust so i dont like to put it under there i think.

In the front i use to put my Jack under one of the bigger bolts that holds the frame for the controlarm.

Where do you put your jack and Jack stands on your mk1 jumpy/expert/scudo?

Have a nice weekend.

Hello! Ive tried to put on a new driving belt on the engine but it doesn't work.
When i removed it i used a torx 50 which is in the middle of the tension pulley wheel then i could remove the belt with not too much struggle. Now when i want to put it back it doesn't work. The torxscrewhead is not too deep which make it easy to slip..I also used the hole on the tensioner bracket. A 3/8 fit but the hole is a little bit worn so when i want to turn it. It just slips n nothing happen. I have this kind of spring loaded tensioner.

Hello! I have a fuel leak on my jumpy 1.9 td. It have the Bosch pump im pretty sure it is the pump head seal. To be sure i want to remove the pump and replace most of the orings n seals.

It have been some  hours to remove hoses, wires etc..

The fuel pump is mounted to the engine with three bolts/ nuts at the front n one at the rear of the pump.

The nut that is on the front bottom is impossible to reach without removing or at least tilt away the steering pump.

How do i remove it / tilt it away?

Thank you.

I have images but dont know how to post them here.

Yes, that's a Bosch. The silver coloured mushroom top thing is a Bosch feature

Is it possible to find out if it's from the pump itself or maybe one of the injector pipes has cracked? Looking the video though it does seem to be from the pump sadly.

I'm not an expert, but I know it's possible to get replacement seal kits for these pumps and refurb them. But it's gonna need someone who knows what they're doing

Removing the pump isn't a huge deal if you need to do it. But you do need to mindful to not get the timing belt out of time

Thank you for your answer I think it is the pump seal= big O-ring.

Now i wanna order a resealkit for my fuelpump. Im not sure what the name of my fuelpump is??
Some say it is the same as in Volkswagen but i dont know?  someone guessed that it is a Bosch VP37/VE37.

I see that you also own a 1.9 td so i guess we have the same fuel pump. Nice "van" by the way

Anyway if youre curious:  Here is an old clip from youtube where they carefully replace that big pump o-ring.

Hello! Im happy to be a member of this forum. Just a week ago i bought a 99% rustfree Citroen jumpy 1.9 td 1998.
The problem that the fuel pump started to leak very much is dripping from it. The car starts and its possible to drive. But its leaking too much too drive further.

Does anybody know what kind of fuel pump i have? I think it is Bosch?

I havent located exactly where it is leaking but i think is in the part in the back of the pump behind where the fuelinjector pipes are going out.

I hope it is possible to change that sealing without removing the pump from the engine.

Will post photo and video pretty soon.
