Hi, I've spent all afternoon trying to run a wire from the +ve battery terminal through to the back of the van. I can't find a way to get it though under the dash. I was told there are two positions for the fuse for lighter, one for permanent, one for ignition on only.
So I was going to connect to the fuse socket that isn't in use but I've no idea if they can handle the power or not. I'm using a maypole tec3m 30a split charge relay.
Does anyone know how many amps it can handle or even better- a way through for a wire.
Thanks, Laurie

It'd done 127k RHZ engine according to logbook. only had it a month! They're were no signs of it under the water and oil caps. Not using water or oil either. Completely out of the blue!
No joy on eBay but used 1st choice and found an engine for £300 that'd only done 74k. Pity about the old one, it ran well. I'm sure there would have been a specialist company that would be able to drill out the bolts but couldn't find one..

Head gasket went last week on my 2.0hdi dispatch. Three of the bolt heads that hold the head on sheared off. Any ideas on how to get these out? The garage says that because the flanges haven't broken off, just the hexagonal heads, they can't be drilled out...

Anyone know where I can get an engine?

Thanks ?
