Before it goes to the skip is there anybody who would like a tow bar, it's just the bar !!...no bolts, electrics or ball, just the basic bar.
Removed from my 2005 Scudo.
Collection from Northwich in Cheshire.
Regards Steve
Just a quick note to wish everyone all the best for the festive season.
Regards Steve
(It's held in from above).... Torq bit each side at the top/front corner and a couple of plastic locating pin things a few inches from the centre... undo all and tug it backwards. yon may have to disconnect headlight/windows switch wires.

What fuse number is it and where should the horn be located ??![]()
TIA..
I've lost the cover/blank where the N/S front fog light is meant to be and in behind there looks like that's where the horn is on mine
Cheers for the heads up....i'll take a look at that side first.
I did change the N/S headlight a few weeks ago, maybe disturbed something when i was in there!
Just looked at the 2 pictures of the long wheel base, the blue one has the extra in front of the sliding doors and the white one after the doors, Wonder why would that be ?
Well i've got a choice then....Mmmm left first or right first, Which ever i choose i bet its behind the other.. lol
Think i'll flip a coin....haha
Cheers
Cheers for the reply, I've looked in the handbook but didn't see "horn" listed
... will go and look again.
Well it looks, well sounds like !, my horn isn't working...
What fuse number is it and where should the horn be located ??
TIA..
Looks a smart little piece of kit...
Shit i thought i got a good deal on glassed doors at 50 quid. Well done you jammy git. Are they silver?
Sadly not, they are white (at the moment) but my best man can spray them at mates rates
at that price they are still a bargain..
If i need them sooner i have an air nibbler so could modify the ones already on the van and just fit the glass in, on the lookout for a side window now !
Hi Localfella, your van sounds good especially the mileage. Must admit mine had a few battle scars when I first got it to, namely the front bumper which was split and the built in fog lights were broken, you wouldn't believe what peugeot dealer wanted for a new bumper and fog lights!
Had to do a paint touch up over the rear arch on the passage side and go over all the paint work with some maguire's stuff to bring the shine back. I've managed to source a replacement front bumper from a 806 but now need to repaint it.
What products were you sourcing from the great Congo?
I won myself a new porta potti off an Ebay seller down on Holmes Chapel rd...Was on my way to leek (no pun intended) to visit friends so didn't even have to go out of my way...
I've replaced a couple of things on the van.... it had a cracked headlight and the centre molding on the front bumper was scuffed. The rear bumper was in a mess as the old boy before me had tried to park it on a stump !! The van runs fine although currently SORN whilst i convert it to a tin tent camper. Dropped on a bargain from Stoke, i got a pair a rear glazed doors for 99p each
, yes 1.98 for a pair of doors...

Is the above any good? Is the 1.6 a good engine then?
Sorry for all the questions!
No my C5 is the 2.0 HDi cost over 600 quid for the service Inc the belt change!
Ah, i was presuming you were after the MK1
Sorry to jump in and hi-jack this thread.....
In the photo the sliding door there has a fixed/solid window, is this the same size one as usually fitted to the rear side windows, I've been thinking of fitting these in my sliding doors. Cheers for any advice...
Recently got myself a Silver 55 plate Scudo van, It has a few battle scares but has only done 67500 miles. I bought it with the intention of turning it into a "Tin tent".... it'll only be used as a second vehicle so the mileage should be kept down still. I was in Congy a few days ago getting some bits for the conversion.
Well got the fronts on to now, see the picture.
Fit perfectly, a bit more room than the rears so think will change to a lower profile in the near future. Have been out on a test run and there's been no rubbing as of yet. The van is nearly fully laden as I use it for work, fitted out with custom racking and tools etc. so that probably doesn't help with the rear clearances. With this in mind I was thinking of putting some spring assistors in??
As you say they do look close but i have to say i do like them. I see you are not to far away from me i'm in Northwich...
Guys...I asked about the Euro rating as i read it somewhere that the RFL was cheaper for euro 4 vehicles, this lead me to ask the question how do you tell if it qualifies ??
My plans for the van are just to convert it to a bit of a one man camping/weekend escape van for me (obviously i have full approval from "her in doors") I'm not after a high end finish just something practical so i could wild camp for a few days. Got a few ideas but its at very early stages yet, at the moment i'm only at the insulation stage..
It's not an ex-taxi just a regular 55 plate scudo sx, Bought it with the intention of converting it to a "tin tent"...
oh great little website by the way.
Guys, How do you know if a vehicle is Euro 4 ?? Recently bought a 55 plate that was (and is currently) SORN... Where does it give you the info. Thanks in advance.
