I always have a little bit of change left from a 5L container. Normally start reading the dip stick around 4L.

FYI to all those on here driving a 1.9D without an ARB - you can fit an ARB off a 2L HDI without too much difficulty. You'll need the bar, bushes, clamps, and droplinks. By removing the bolts for the steering rack and moving it forward a little, you can slide the ARB in without needing to undo the subframe bolts.

Can easily be fitted in a weekend and makes a huge difference to the handling. Not even just under fast cornering - it no longer gets buffeted around by lorries or in high winds. If people are interested I could put a bit more info together.

Hi all,

Quick question - does anyone know if simply removing the two bolts holding the hub to the strut (and maybe the track rod end), and then pivoting the hub out the way on the ball joint, will provide enough room to fully disengage the NS driveshaft splines from the hub or box?

I ask because I've recently noticed my inner CV is starting to split. Normally I'd just remove the arm from the subframe, or the ball joint from the hub. Unfortunately I've only very recently completely painted up the subframe and fitted a new arm with ball joint - so really want to avoid damaging these on disassembly!

Any input much appreciated.

Cheers,
Nathan

Anyone with an original Expert/Scudo/Dispatch need a rear headliner? I've got this one going spare. It's pretty grubby, hence why I've replaced it! Could potentially be cleaned or reupholstered.

Yours for nowt if you can pick it up from Gloucester! Comes with 3 lights and the 2 untested speakers.

Anyone know how to remove the arm rest from the basic non-swivel "captain" style seats? Mine's looking a bit tatty and I was hoping to either find a cheap replacement or re-upholster it!

Cheers,
Nathan
