Exactly the reason I got them. You can leave the windows part open without drawing attention to the fact the windows are open. Another reason for me was to increase airflow at night and help reduce condensation.

New side decals added.

Makes it look more like a camper now. Ironic considering I originally wanted a stealth camper!

Still looking for the rear doors (with windows in) but not that hard to be honest. The more I think about it the less I think I need them.

Not pictured is a diy surfboard table for the inside made using the ply that made up the original racking.

Brilliant to use as it lists the mot fails and advisories. Great when you're looking to buy as you can see if the work has been done / how honest the sellars are!

The van you linked to hasn't been taxed since Dec 15 and the mot run out in June 16. That raises questions to me. May be a reason why it's so cheap.

Running mine at 36psi. I found that number online somewhere  (maybe from the vehicle handbook).

I was on about the rear ones, managed to sort some side ones too - still looking for the rear ones.

I've just tried that and it gives me all the info bar the body colour!

As i understand it to access the speedo sensor you need the van on a ramp as it's right underneath and right up (no access from the top).

Next port of call Woukd be to clean the connectors - a friend of a friend has a ramp so will tackle that before but handy to know if it is the speedo itself then it's doable.

For my van I added the wind deflectors and will have the windows ajar at night to get a bit of air flow. That combined with half a kilo of silica gel bags dotted throughout I'm hoping will be sufficient.

The stuff in the link is identical to what I used. The other colours looks good too! With the van having no windows white was the colour of choice for most things in the back as with he doors closed it's awfully dark! At least the white reflects the led lights well.

My dad's a Window and connie fitter and gets his hands on it. I believe it's called 'hollowclad' and connects together (push fit but secured with a few screws). No idea of the cost as I pinched it from him but is very easy to work with.

I toyed with the idea of a rock and roll bed but decided against as you say to give me the flexibility of having the bike inside while sleeping. You're right regards having to have the other door open to retrieve the other cushions to make up the bed. Shouldn't be much of an issue as I can have them out and inside in just a few seconds. Advantage of this is when my wife and son comes along we can use the full width but when it's just me then it can be used 2/3 size (to accommodate the bike).
