Hi mate I have replaced mine it was a few years ago but if memory serves correct, unclip the gear gaiter and undo the two torx screws on the left. I think this releases the entire facia including the spring loaded cover.

Then it's a case of prying the lighter out, one of them plastic clips behind that you need to press. I found this the most awkward part.

I was quoted £35 for a oem one from citroen so I replaced with one like this

I did have to file a small amount off the facia and add spade connectors to make it fit, the replacement had a separate feed for bulb same as the one I've linked. So it is no longer lit but is still working well 2 years later

Hi, all good advice in the above posts.
200k wouldn't put me off looking at a 1.9 N/A but i would test the gearbox in all gears for notchiness and dropping out of gear the gearbox is the weak link on these vans in my experience.

Personally i would shy away from ex police vans because they are usually city mileage rather than motorway, but on the flip side the mileage is more likely to be correct if it is direct from the police.

I always judge a vehicle on its condition rather than it's mileage as this is the most relevant on vans of this age, for example a 50k van that has had overheating problems or oil starvation in the past is not going to be as good as a 200k van

Yes crap scrap yards here in coventry and surrounding areas, there used to be some fantastic ones, little gold mines!
But I think the new law introduced about 20 years ago which demanded hard standing sites finished them off

Yes were on the same hymn sheet mate,  the top of the headlight is in the exact same position where it meets the grill on both models trust me.
The bonnet bulge throws the perspective a bit

To my knowledge if registered before January 1st 2002 non LEZ compliant, so yours should be fine.
I don't live in London or drive into London so absolutely no first hand experience on this though

Dunno pal, I have to put alot of weight on the left hand side door to get the latches to engage! and absolutely no movement once closed, so possibly there is some adjustment available.

I did a round trip of 184.4 miles at the weekend it cost me £30 Is that bad?
Was fully loaded and last 20 miles back and forth into central Wales (very hilly) i paid £1.08 a litre.
I can't be arsed to work out mpg ,but if any of you can please do

Hi pal, as casper says anything is possible, if you get the base out of a two seater van for the passenger side too!

I'm guessing your considering the scenic seats because they swivel (captain seats) which is understandable but once you have the two bases you can build a simple frame and bolt it too them, theres four holes and actually perfect bases to build off, and weld any seat lower runners to them.

I chose Hyundai coupe leather seats and intend to add a universal swivel under the drivers seat at some point, but i am a steel fabricator by trade so probably see it from a different light!

I actually have a pair of scenic seats whch i intended to put in my old T4 before some fool offered me silly money for it
I didn't adapt these to my dispatch because there blue and ugly, but i can measure them up tomorrow if you like.
