Hello all
I'm new here. I've just bought a 65 plate lwb dispatch. I want to replace the front seats with one's that can swivel. I was wondering about the seats from a C8,807 etc or something a bit newer eg C4 Picasso with swivel bases.
Has anyone got any experience about this?

C8, Synergie, 806, 807, Ulysee - all will fit, though you may need to ream some of the base holes out a bit.
However finding these seats is difficult, and all you will see is high prices & very poor quality.
The single passenger seat can be difficult to get but there are a couple on ebay at the moment
Think carefully about how many swivel seats you need. In my old conversion the passenger seat was never turned.
Another option is to get a swivel plate purpose made for this Fasp 1305.5131.DX or SX - expect to pay £120 delivered, Though I do know of someone who is selling a passenger plate for £75 plus postage.

Hiya tee_cee
Thanks for your reply, had a look at a C8 earlier today. The seats were in a right state☹.But they did look as though they would go straight in, do they share the same floor pan, battery location is identical !!!
I'll keep looking but those models are all old & rare now. If anyone knows any other seats that will fit please let me know?.

I fitted a pair of leather mercedes slk seat in with a little bit of effort. They look great!

Fitted a very comfortable pair of Nissan X-trail seats to my 2008 Dispatch the biggest job was shortening the passenger seat chassis but really look the part.

I'm currently looking into swapping my drivers seat and double passenger for leather seats, which will either be from a 207 or 307. Prices aren't to bad and I've managed to get hold of the single seat subframe for a very reasonable sum.
Will update once I've done the swap and hopefully some pictures too.

Update: 20ucc leather seats do not fit the subframe base of the expert
Now looking into others for a fit.
Graydog, did the x-trail fit ok on the drivers subframe? What year x-trail were your seats from please?

Sorry about the delay in replying Anchor, not really sure about the age or model of X-trail just saw a pair locally that look good with very little wear.
I fitted them by using 1.5 inch X 1 inch Rectangular steel tube and off setting the mounting holes It also gave the seat an one inch lift which I think is good benefit for anyone of 6 foot or over.

Hi Graydog, thank you for getting back to me
I've purchased a pair of peugeot 207cc leather seats which I thought might line up with the existing holes but alas no! Might go down the route of adapting the existing subframes to make them fit.
Yes the extra height would come in handy for anyone over 6ft! Not that I'm in that club.

Careful if you also intend to fit swivels though. I'm a shorty and with swivels fitted my head is very close to the over head shelf.

Thanks for the heads up OAT, I was intending on fitting a swivel to the passenger side. The issue I have with the 207cc seats is that the runner is about 2 inches wider apart than the existing van seat runner, so currently thinking of the best way to adapt the existing sub frame to enable figment.

Changed my 08 Dispatch for an 2011 Expert Teepee conversion only wish I had taken the X-Trail seats I had installed in my old van they were a lot more comfortable and much better support.

I've also bought a 2011 Tepee & am thinking about swivel seats.
Does anyone know what seats will 'drop in' to the 07-16 body? I was looking at earlier posts in this thread, but get the impression that the other seats mentioned are for the earlier versions?
Also, any thoughts on if it's best to make the driver or passenger seat swivel, if you're only doing one seat?
Thanks

I have swivels on both front seats in mine.
I only ever turn the drivers side if I have a visitor. Otherwise I push it right forward and tilt forward against the steering wheel. Then with the passenger seat swiveled and pushed back against the dash, you have a nice open central space and easy open access from drivers side sliding door.

Makes perfect sense.

I've put the swivel seat on the passenger side but it's a bit wobbly. The swivel is a FASP & is made for my Expert, all the bolts line up properly so it's play in the bearings that's causing the problem. Has anyone come up with suitable packing to go between the swivel plates?
Thanks

Don't know that make but I had a previous van that a previous owner had fitted a hard plastic disk between the plates. I don't know the material but it was like some cutting boards. Cut into a spoked wheel shape to spread the load and keep the friction down. It worked well.
Another perhaps easier way might be hard nylon bolts strategically screwed through the plate. It's not as though it's spinning like a windmill after all.

My swivel is on passengers side only and used/works much as OAT has described...........
At first I thought it was very Heath Robinson in design and still do to some extent...............
Clearly thought up I'd say by the original owner and made by a blacksmith .........
Not a slik bought in version by the company who did the conversion............
It's fairly hefty in construction but somewhat crude in operation, The seat belt receiver is extended and now bolted to the subframe............
But It does the job perfectly well now we're used to it.............

I have a FASP on the drivers side and there is no noticable play on the bearings.

Hiya all
I ended up buying seats from a C3 picasso. I made some adapter plates so they would fit on to my seat bases.
However with these fitted & the fasp swivel plates the drivers seat fouled the handbrake. This would mean altering the van chassis ?.
I bought single front passenger seat & fitted that with the fasp swivel plates.
During my seating "journey " a breaker that specialises in PSA vehicles told me that Peugeot "06" cars should fit
Eg 206,306 406 etc. But don't hold me to that I hope this helps.

So I've finally ditched the 207 leather seats! Too much of a pia to get fitted so off they went on ebay.
I've now sourced a single passenger seat from a tepee and a new drivers seat to match. Not cheap but cheap compared to some I've seen on ebay.
Any way I've found an upholsterer that makes custome covers for these seats so I'm going to have a set made up in leather as that's the look and feel I'm aiming for. I will also be purchasing a swivel for at least the passenger side seat, and maybe one fro the drivers seat depending on the rear units I decide to fit.

How much are the covers?

Not sure yet on total cost in the leather, but the seat base is listed on ebay :https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITREON-DISPATCH-PEUGEOT-EXPERT-FIAT-SCUDO-QUALITY-SEAT-BASE-COVERS-2008-2016-/293712360721?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
I'll be leaving a seat with them so they can make up a pattern for the back rest as they currently don't have one.
My understanding is that the seat fabric is an integral part of the cushion so reupholstered isn't an option, but they can do covers.

Will do, hopefully going to drop the seat off later this week or early next.
