Mine has three holes and the hanger is in the middle one.
The two outer holes are pressed through to form a raised boss on one side. The middle one that mine uses is just a drilled hole.
Perhaps different mounts for different batches of silencer, axle, etc?

So there is two sizes. I was looking the other night as i have 195/70/14 but when searching 15" kept coming back what was confusing.

Looking at the rust under your van indicates some gloop might be in order. I have been using https://www.lanoguard.co.uk/products/bo … r-care-kit and Fluid Film for treating rust. It’s lanolin based, so if you’re partial to sheep, it has a nice aroma.
I had an inner wing on a 405 welded up, just behind the front wheel. I coated it with the grease version, and warmed it up with a heat gun to spread it. In the following three years, if you scraped the steel with a fingernail, it was shiny steel behind. It’s ironic it later failed the MOT because of rust on the BACK axle. That was the end of life. Doh!

The other van is overdue sealer again also. Ill wait and see how the MOT goes on the disparch. If a pass ill do that but if wanting lots of work ill just get another. Mine is just for work unlike if it was a camper i would take more care of it.

Mine is just for work, so it’s important it keeps going as it earns the money.
