Aftermarket Keyless Entry, Remote Central locking kit for 07 Expert

I have just bought an 07 Peugeot Expert. I only have one key, which just turns in the locks. The key is NOT the folding type with buttons.
I have bought an aftermarket 'keyless entry system' but I am stumped with the installation.
I can remotely lock the van but not unlock it.
Has any forum member managed to install one of these kits?

Yes,

I installed one made by a company called hawk about two years ago. Best thing I every did!

If I remember correctly, it had several wiring diagrams of the typical setup on cars. I recall that the system on our van holds both terminals of the actuators to ground when idle. Therefore, if you want to send a positive pulse, there needs to be a break in the feed from the oem wiring or you get a short! I found out the hard way.

I made all my connections at the BSI module which is found under the steering wheel to the right behind the cubby hole.

Ask me some specific question and I'll try to help

That’s it. I need to BREAK a circuit not MAKE a circuit. I am going to cut a wire and wire it through the unlock relay. NC not NO.

If I’m successful I’ll post the instructions.

Re: Aftermarket Keyless Entry, Remote Central locking kit for 07 Expert

hello, did you manage it in the end?
I have a 2010 pug expert and im trying to install the hawk-008 kit.

you mentioned breaking not making a circuit, I currently have the plug for the door in front of me, i don't wana f up my wiring, let alone at the bsi, so wanted to see if cutting in to the plug wiring would be better,
anyhelp would be appreciated.
