Re: Swivel seats

If i get another cheap deal on a drivers side one i take it the seat misses the handbrake on the on/up position.

Excellent....Checked out you photos.....Van's coming along nicely.... was that seat base a universal or 806, Scudo, Dispatch ETC specific .... I only have swivel on passengers side as cabinet right behind drivers seat.... however have thought in replacing passengers swivel plate and adding a secure box along with it (passports , documents ETC) as the one I used in the 306 is getting a little worse the wear ...... used it in a number of vehicles now..........

Re: Swivel seats

you pull up on the handbrake  then a liitle  pull  on the button  hey presto the handle lays down  so the swivel seats can clear, its a throw back to the  806/synergie   monkey

The label on the plate said it was for a Peugeot boxer/fiat decato and some other. The holes were spot on so easy job. I took an angle grinder to it as there was a large bracket for the seatbelt what the label also said i would have had to take off the seat but that would have been for the larger vans.
Yeah i am thinking of a kitchen unit behind the drivers seat to putting off getting another swivel just now but i am thinking when both turned i could make something to drop into the middle making a bed for the dog.

Re: Swivel seats

First post...

I just picked up a 59 Dispatch Combi and want to swap out the front bench and driver seats for swivel seats. I've trawled the internet but can't find a definitive answer to whether or not 807 seats are a straight fit?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-807-C … SwiO9Xig96

Be grateful for any info on these

thanks
Joe

Re: Swivel seats

As far as i know Joe that is what Monkeyballs has in his van and another on the forum but unsure who. Even if the bolt holes are out you can easily get the drill out however i would be taking the gamble and buying them had i had the chance when i was doing the job.

Re: Swivel seats

Thanks for the response guys...

Looking at the thread on that Fiat forum it's still not clear whether 807 / Mk2 seats fit directly the base on my 59 Mk2 Dispatch?

Monkeynut – are you saying 806 seats bolt straight into a mk2?

If I gamble on the seats and it turns out the bolt holes are wrong and I need to drill new ones to match, does this affect my insurance and will there be an issue with seatbelt tensioning?

I'm surprised how little info there is regarding mk2 conversions online? Sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions...

Cheers
Joe

Re: Swivel seats
