2 - Preheater plugs (1160)(1160)

2.1 - Role.

The preheater plugs allow a rapid increase in the temperature in the combustion chambers during starting.

2.2 - Description.

11 volt preheater plugs.

Total length of 107 mm.

Composition of the preheater plugs :

• A heating resistor.
• A metallic protective cover.
  

  3 - Pre-post heating control unit (1150)(1150)
  

  3.1 - Role.
  

  The housing supplies the preheating plugs with electricity following the injection ECU's commands.

  3.2 - Description.
  

  The pre and post-heating times are determined by the injection ECU.

  If the preheater control unit develops a fault, the injection ECU will memorise the fault.

  3.3 - Electrical features.
  

  Allocation of the connector channels :
• Line N° 1:Earth.
• Line N° 2:Line unused.
• Line N° 3:After ignition +12 volts.
• Line N° 4:Engine check ECU input.
• Line N° 5:Preheater control unit diagnostic.
• Line N° 8:Permanent +12 volts.
• Line N° 9:Supply to the preheater plugs.
