Before I take out the clocks on my 2005 Scudo 2.0 SX JTD, can the mileage & trip meter  bulb be replaced, I have been told on some it cant. The mileage and the trip both work. If you shine a torch at a certain angle, you can just see the numbers

Cheers

To Casper. I don't its for the jack.
My Scudo has a recess under drivers seat for the jack and wheel nut brace. It fits that perfect there's no need for any tie down straps Thanks for input anyway  smile

Cheers, had a good look today. There's 2 boxes, one either side about 4".

Q! What is the box that runs the width at the back underneath. Also is the vent inside van rear nearside part of box. It has holes in a few places but still passed MOT 4 months ago and must have been noticed

I have the Scudo 2005 JTD 2.0 SX. Keep around 55-60mph. I can get 45/50mpg. It was converted to a camper when I bought it. Also  it has a load capacity of 900kg. Put the van on level ground and it slopes down from back to the back of the seats (6ft) around 5"  yikes I also swapped the double front seat for a single one

Thanks All for the advice
Heater is not as hot as it's usually is during summer, especially with this cold spell. So first thing to do is check the thermostat, or replace it. But not till the weather warms up

I have had my 2005 Scudo 2.0 JTD SX. for 11months. The temp gauge varies between 70-75c no matter what the weather is.
Is this normal, or should I check the thermostat?

#14 Re: Maintenance » 2005 Scudo Rear Springs Help! » 2018-08-17 13:56:47

Thank for the reply's.
Reason I asked My mate had the 1.9 expert. The 64bhp one. His was level because the max load was around 500kg. Mine is around 900kg. So his springs had to be shorter.

Not sure if allowed to put contact details on. Hope its ok? Details S.P.D. Car Breakers. Liverpool Street. Sheffield. S92UP. 07414879357
They have plenty in various conditions

I have a 2005 Scudo 2.0lt SX JTD. It was already a part campervan when I bought it. I'm finishing off. I have a slide out bed seat.

There is one annoying thing, to make the bed reasonably level, front end is over 3" higher than the back. My mate put a laser level at the back. We found from the back doors to the front, to the back of the seats, it's nearly 5" lower. Apart from cutting the springs down are there smaller replacements springs I can buy to lower the back end please.
Cheers All

Remote central locking using fob has stopped working. Change battery still no joy. So I looked at maybe a fuse has gone. I haven't a owners manual, but surprised that there no key diagram anywhere to explain what each fuse is for. So my question: is there a fuse for central locking, if so where it and a diagram appreciated
Thanks

Had to change battery in my genuine 2005 Fiat Scudo SX JTD. Remote central locking key fob. Now doesn't work.

I'm not sure which is the lock button so enclosed pic of a very used fob. Is it easy to reset. Do I need some Masonic ritual, or have I got to go to dealers????

Any Help appreciated

#21 Re: Camper Conversions » Single Passenger Seat » 2018-07-10 07:38:50

I have just come on to the forum. I was going to ask the same question that Kenbw2 posed.

Looking at the seat, the seatbelt is bolted to the seat bottom frame. Also I think the hand brake is bolted to the other side frame.
Anyone done this please?

There is a single seat for these vans. Quite rare and good luck finding one with the same trim or,,,, almost any seat from a car with flat runners and you will need to make a base. It cost me £30 for the 3cm box steel to make two for my van (Not my expert i managed to find a standard single seat) I got two Vauxhall Corsa seats for 50 quid on ebay and used them.

http://makingseats.blogspot.com/p/one.html

You could still have matching seats by changing your drivers but you will need to use your standard base what sits lower at the back so i dont know how that will feel. Passengers, just measure heights and make your base accordingly. Drill through floor missing fuel lines and wiring chuck in drop bolts and use load bearing plates under van to keep MOT man happy

Not bothered about matching seats. But thanks for the info

In have removed the double passenger seat and need advice on what single seats would fit my 2005 Scudo JTD. Don't mind if it needs new holes drilling.
Any help appreciated

You can get single passenger seats but they are like hens teeth. You can also just use a drivers one and use the floor mounted belt clasp. Unsure but may need to take the seat mounted one off to keep MOT man happy. As for the bulkhead its just bolted on but you are left with a smaller step over section what is sealed along the floor and one bolt each side. I just undid the two bolts and attacked it with a big hammer.

Thanks for reply.
