Been that long since i had one of these vans i cant remember. Is this the alloys that fit?
Sorry, Arsejotter link
Hahaha,
That takes the biscuit, Tantobie is about 10 minutes away from my place.
But seriously, Moniaive wins hands down every time and 15 quid for all weekend camping?
Not staying there. He not long bought the place as a fixer upper so its only half done. We are staying at the Black Horse Beamish. Well i say staying there, they so free park ups if you buy a meal. Mate has four kids so table for eight i think i can stay in the carpark for the week

Who's the stranger?
You not fancy it?
Visiting a friend in the North East on the 23rd (Tantobie) and the 24th there is meant to be a North East meet with our LDV Group here
https://www.bradleyburn.co.uk/index.php
If looking for sites for meets we tend to do the middle of the country as you are never going to please everyone. People lower that say London or North of the Lothians are always going to have to drive more but we tend to book here

or here

Both are cheap and easy going. Raised fire pits and BBQ's allowed. Late low music allowed but never been bothered if it was getting to loud. Basic toilet blocks but its a hot shower and somewhere to poop sitting down rather than squat
Hoping to be there too!
Who's the new guy?
I am still having a nose in now and then. Not been out and about in my bus of late as WAYYYyyyyy to bust at work. I think i got old over the past few month also what is quite depressing
reason being i bought my first watering can two month ago and last week ordered plants out a Sunday magazine. Boy i feel depressed. Next month i am even older and booked into Thunder In The Glen at Aviemore. I hate Harleys FFS, The Monday after i will probably commit Harakiri
So AB_70
How the heck do you store radio channels on that head unit?
Yes it took me almost two years to fit it somewhere
Dodgy ignition may be a possibility. Loose wire, worn when in the drive position. My Maxus had something simmilar where the heater fan would not work but started on the odd occasion after hitting a pot hole. When running if i turn the key to start the starter motor but not quite then the fan would run. Swapped over ignition and all was good again.
Seen a few of them now in the flesh/metal. Cute but 17.5k cute i dont know. MOT checker says he is a liar.

I’d like to say hundreds. And Facebook marketplace. Within reasonable distance.
There was a E7 breakers in ebay for long enough as well. Was looking for them not long ago but no joy. I cant see them going bust as there is still a lot on the roads as well as the later versions. I was just lucky my local scrap yard hade afire damaged one in. The lining was fine just wanted a wash. I stole that at 20 quid.
Have you messaged any on ebay being broken?
When i had my Pug Expert the ASR would click but in France one trip the leisure battery was almost dead when i got to a camp site what was odd. Investigating that it turned out to be a shit earth.
I have two batteries in my work Maxus as they are rebound for bean weak starters. Got 95Ah under the bonnet and 110 in the back using an old disabled chair lift wiring.
Anyway
When I bought mine the whole front end was covered with red flowers. Not as varied or as colourful as yours though.
They had to go but as a survivor of 60's flower power, I did leave just one small one low down just behind the front wheel.
I hove not spoke to him OAT but apparently the owner (Is it Alistair) is going to open up the bar again at Tibbie. Unsure if that is a good or Bad thing as the basics was the appeal but if doing some food as well it would be handy.
Quick gander says 4.25lt
Think the owners handbook tells you in the download section
I would have thought its just protection for the filler neck. Me, i would cut it out
I am 99% sure the version with the lowering floor for disables access was side exit. Try a parts search using this ones reg number to confirm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233881528452 … Sw8ndgGqSq
I am sure i read that the later 07 on van seats use the same seat mount holes. Last i looked ebay was awash with the vans being broken. Here is a not bad scudo set. Obviously postage may be an issue but if you happen to live close to a breakers yard then bonus.
Love it and great to hear of these trips .................
Also when time permited the campsite at Durness and a visit to Smoo's cave as well as the not as good John Lennon Garden memorial.
Keep meaning to go visit Smoo Cave. Just had a wee look and that camp site looks OK and walking distance to the cave what is handy as the wife would not make the stairs so she can stay on the camperbus or visit John's garden. Google do that garden no justice BTW
When replacing the fuel leak off return I would advise cutting the pipe off the fuel thermostat housing.
I tried to pull mine of it this morning and snapped the plastic spigot off.
Ouch!
I did that also
Luckily i have a scrap yard about 5 miles away and they had two vans in.
Probably air got in and fuel ran back to tank. Most likely culprit is the crap after market seals you get for the fuel filter housing. Try Opening and injector fuel line and get somone to turn the ignition and stop when fuel starts to flow. Repeat with the other three. If you get it running and the same problem in the morning they you have air getting in.
Single wire. Could be water temperature bolt but then that may be to low and i would think its better closer to the thermostat. You could pull the plug and see what stops working.
Just don't do what I did once. "I'll just connect up the wires to my phone's headphone socket to these speaker wires"
A frying sound and a smell of smoke later I realised those speaker wires were the 12V feeds
