Apparently, my very early 07 (mk1 facelift) started live as a 9 seater, before it was converted to a wav. That's according the person I bought it from anyway, if thats true I bet that would of been fun with the flat 1.9 with 9 people onboard!
Just a quick google and it gave me this.
The
Citroen Dispatch Mk1 was produced from 1996 to 2006 (with a facelift in 2004) and was available as a 9-seater Combi model. This was a rare but highly practical configuration, providing substantial passenger capacity and versatile interior space.
Key Features of the Mk1 Dispatch 9-Seater:
Vehicle Type: The 9-seater was generally badged as the "Dispatch Combi" or "MPV" version, which was the passenger variant of the standard commercial van.
Seating Configuration: The seating layout typically consisted of a 3-seat bench in the front row (driver + two passengers), a second 3-seat bench, and a third 3-seat bench, allowing for 9 passengers in total.
Versatility: A key feature was the versatile interior. The rear seats could be easily removed to expand the already large cargo space, making it suitable for both large families and light commercial use.
Platform: The Mk1 Dispatch shared its mechanicals and body structure with other "Eurovans" from the PSA and Fiat collaboration, specifically the Peugeot Expert and Fiat Scudo vans, as well as the Citroen Synergie (Evasion), Peugeot 806, and Fiat Ulysse MPVs.
Driving Position: A notable quirk of the first-generation models was the slightly offset driving position and the handbrake placement to the right of the driver, designed to maximize central cabin space.
Engine Options: It was commonly available with a 1.9-litre diesel engine or a more powerful 2.0-litre HDi engine, known for reliability and decent fuel economy.

Yeah, one day I'll put some sound deadening in it. Just like doing 1 project at a time, otherwise I'll forget forget what im doing. Plus it is the daily so needs to be serviceable, so I cannot have too much going on at once. Plus it has a full roof trade rack for getting firewood which doesnt help noise. Those speaker boxes you made look thin enough you could flush mount them to the roof.

I must admit the stock interior light, do leave something to be desired. I have toyed with the idea of using led strip/rope lighting and running it down the side of the van For example

I am currently looking for a way to add rear speakers to the wav. Just beacuse the front speakers have to be cranked up, just to hear anything with the window open and or on the motorway or it rains. Not looking for anything crazy just good enough I have attached some links ideas below.
I do like the idea of the motorhome style ones but it is a very mixed bag on reviews. Motorhome pod Speakers They do seem like they would be easy to mount on the rear pillars.
I have looked at speaker boxes also Speaker Boxes The only mount location that would not silly or in the way is under the rear seats.
I do not think just cutting them in to the side pastic would work as they are not pointing at anyone and one, one in the rear would be blocked by the spare wheel.
Ideas?

If the current cupholders could have an adapter, to move them away from the dash would be great. I guess they are so far forward for the versions that do not have elec windows

Oh cool, I've been waiting looking online for models for the jumpy start showing up. good work! if you want an idea what to do next, cupholders would be great! The ones in the door are useless

You can have it blanked off and mapped out, I think I seen places do for about £180. Thats what I plan to do when my fails, but it is a 1.9D

As its a Wav it already had 1 seat, so I reused those mounts/ bolts. The other side had the bolts already installed but the wrong way around (as you need the treads pointing out of the floor to mount the seat)
The bolts I used in the end, go stright though the chassis with reinforcing steel plates. They where already there from the wav converstion.
The other bolts just go stright though the floor but there are heavy duty steel plates on both sides that the bolt goes though before the floor from the underside.
The seats themsleves are from a buses, I have 4 spare seats with legs which I need to sell or something. I brought all one ones near me to see what will work. All the seats are singles, I just bolted the ones I installed togther with overthe top hardware. Going to take it the garage i use this week, just for them to look it over and make sure its all ok.

After alot of time of Gumtree and FB Market place I found seats for me to install in the van ( I now have a lot of spare seats)
This Wav did have a single rear seat, but also had the blots in the otherside. So I made a bench!
Plus the Mobility scooter still fits

Have a look on ebay/facebook/ebay for "dispatch breaking" or "expert breaking" or "Scudo Breaking" It's how I find random parts I need (if you search filter it to nearest first, you might get lucky so you can just collect)

Correct, a cheapo car play thingy to 3.5mm which connected the cd changer connections via a converstion box to trick it into thinking the 3.5mm connection is a cd changer.
Talking about it has reminded me to order the correct lengths of cables I need to tiny it up, and run them from the air vent in the middle.
I really need to make something to hold the panel I stuck in also for voltage gauge and usb connections

My post I put it on here a while ago, alot of ebay searching and I think I ended up buying 3 till I found one that worked, by hijacking the cd changer port.

Sure thing, Iit fits reasonably well in landscape. I didn't bother fitting the locking brackets since it's not like I'm pulling Gs in acceleration.
Looks good, but looks like I'd keep bashing it though when grabbing 1st. May look for one of those portrait screens for my shovel hands

Oh cool, I've been looking for a while for a replacement I would use Car play and sat nav on it. I've just highjacked the cd changer input at them moment with one of those cheap screens to connect my phone for tunes and nav.

Relays are under the bonet in a black case, I think there is a key on the side for what does what. If I remember correctly

They're nothing fancy they cheap as chips, they work with the stock headunit too. I got the speaker connector adapters too, as im lazy.

Ok I have been doing some ebaying and found an adapter that worked 
It connects to the micro iso (blue) where your cd changer would be and tricks the headunit to thinking you have one but you get an aux connection instead.
I got to tidy it up a bit yet, but at least I found something that works!

Looks great! How are you enjoying it? Mine was a bit cheaper but a lot more miles and yours looks better condition, on the outside anyway.
Any grand plans for it? I’m hoping to do a very basic camper.
The only plans are some more lights/larger reverse light as I live in the sticks. Other than that nothing planned as the reason we got it is to use it to carry a wheelchair/scooter.
Not driven it that much, only use it to take the missus out. Corsa B is my daily for work etc

Yeah the garage I use, are confused on how bad that front sub frame is and the rest of it is like a different van as its "mint" apparently. I had the new sub frame and cross member caked in waxoil and the whole underside of the van. Like you say it wasn't cheap and im doing what I can so I never have to do it again.
When you change the front sub frame for at least the 1.9D there are 2 different sub frames once is pre face lift and one facelift. The main changes are the engine mount and the bolt hole sizes towards to back. So I found when I was talking to above supplier. The front cross memeber is the same for both.
Just need to drive the van more now...
