Thanks m8, but it looks different !? (all it looked like just a straight'ish pipe between middle box, the "cat" and only little bit bendy towards rear box assembly (with a hook))
...I'll make some pics tomorrow, I'm sure you'll get a smirk at least seeing my handy-work wink

Well heeellllooooo!
On the way back home, bit of loud sounding engine and whole hell of a scraping noise... pulled over- YES! got the jack up and rubber gromit (?) that's meant to hold mid-rear part missing and it broke on where the "converter output" in to straight to the rear connection snapped.
found some rope (plastic) tied up between the tank and chassis and made it home, before it all melted.

110 moneys...https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324332747472  but looks absolutely different!?
or https://www.eurocarparts.com/catalytic-converter
Klarius Catalytic ConverterProduct Code: 724730025

it's Euro 3 engine, doubt it'll fail MOT emissions, if there wasn't converter... would it?  (I'm thinking of those fake  Cat-converters - empty)

ANW Dispatch 2004 1.9 D (non turbo) 70 Enterprise, any pointers as for correct part number or fitting intricacies?
Thanks!

#403 Re: Maintenance » dispatch battery 1.9 2009 » 2022-06-18 12:27:55

Might be a bit off topic, pardon me!
My old (really old boy) m8's Honda Jazz battery was going, had it serviced- they went £170 notes- eff off thing; checked online few places and total for a 340AH (5000 series Yuasa) battery at Halfords £75, EuroCarParts £40 (cheapest) or £50 Yuasa 3000 series, remembered when few years bought bike batt from something like tyanna or whatever from Wales or something...
Vualia! £360 AH 5000 series Yuasa, including £8 delivery (litterally next day) under £50, checked the sticker etc- made in May this year!!!, changed it- cranked like weasel on drugs...

If all fails and you want-need new batt, I can only recommend Tayna.co.uk 096 batts with 600ah + crank rating

#404 Re: General Discussion » What size tyres » 2022-05-04 15:45:59

Wouldn't recommend messing with load or size of tires, be it bit of a pain money wise. Having had my van empty and 38 PSI in tires it still seemed almost flat at the bottom, once parked on an uneven ground. Obvious cataclysmic insurance issue apart, those massive tyres is part of suspension design and you might end feeling like driving a kart or a shopping trolley if you alter those sizes too much

#411 Re: General Discussion » Radio Code » 2021-11-13 09:34:26

Mine is 2004, similar and I had to go to dealers in person (don't remember if must, but had V5) to get the code (at a price £xx(?? Don't remember exactly)) with no guarantee, that it'll work, in case radio was changed... Only to have lost the code and next time anything of the sort would need be done- I'll end up with no radio or new radio... roll

Got to be better than a map? Surely?

When I tried it out, it got me to Asda and back perfectly.    smile

Don't get me wrong- actual map reading is long now ground out out of me so much, that I end up using my apps to go shopping from home.... anything, as long as I wouldn't need any brain usage  ops  and happens (when I argue with Mrs Jane ('nee Waze)) to think I know better route, than her- I end up in a bit of jam, as simply impossible to know traffic happen on hourly basis. #415 Re: General Discussion » 2007 Citroen Dispatch 1.9D seems to misfire/judder at 50mph » 2021-10-07 21:16:57

sounds to me like ERG (useless) system failing or more precisely vacuum isn't sufficient enough to operate clogged up ERG valve. Blocking it with 6mm bolt or ball bearing  should solve it.

#420 Re: General Discussion » "Garmin" not all as it seems » 2021-09-19 20:50:10

Yup, just to add my £0.02P all of them Win Based units are inferior to the Android (phone ones) Waze is absolute best (with data connection); without data (off-line) HERE is good enough, but all are way better to several Garmin TomTom's and few cheaper models stand alone units I still have somewhere floating about...

#421 Re: Maintenance » Hubble, bubble, power steering trouble » 2021-09-19 20:13:41

Power steering is perhaps the only part, that is reliable on these vans, as well as very many other makes/models used. I can not imagine where, but the housing having had a knock- crack (??) to empty itself as per what you say.
the only way to find exactly where its from is to fill up, pop it on stands, start the van and try turning steering wheel with left hand to see exactly where it's going to splutter out, as those pumps only function, when started and turning the wheel.
I know, not much of "help", but interesting case it seems

Ahh okay, so its a one way - got it.

(Just to be clear)-  no and yes.

No, Particular is non valve, just a nipple for attaching bleeding hose, 10mm spanner (releasing and tightening) will be acting as valve.

Yes, in the sense, you should never let brake fluid or anything in to the system from nipple end, everything as top-up, bleeding or right full flush needs to come from reservuar, servo, pipes, calipers and through the nipple out.
